Most definitely, even tho the second one is the only one with minimal catching abilities the shadow system was really cool and fun to use. They actually had good stroylines too.

3)Farfetch'd

And finally, pokemanz IRL
1)Polywhirl
2)Atheism Mudkip!
3)Pikachu
4)Cuban Cubone
5)Blastoise

That is all.

The only differences between Red and Blue are some Pokémon. For example, you can get Growlithe in Red and Vulpix in Blue, or Oddish in Red and Bellsprout in Blue.

Wth... Pikachu is female? Ash's Pikachu? That's not possible... :(

If that's true, I'm going to destroy my entire Pokémon collection. Not that I have a Pokémon collection but still.

Well, back in the original Blue/Red the only Pokemon that had any differences between the genders was Nidoran. It's possible that the other ones have no discernable differences between the genders, or maybe we only see one gender, and the other gender merely stays at the nest, raising the babies or some such.

In Generation 4, some Pokémon have different sprites based on their gender, plus a couple have gender-specific evolutions.

@Josjie: Pikachu can be either gender, but Ash's is confirmed to be male.

I'd still very much rather have Jessica Nigri.

ashes pikachu was indeed male

as for the different games

red had some pokemon that were explusive and could only be gotten in blue if you treaded them... thus making them get more EXP (which i did to get my level 99 charizard to get 5X exp when he was only a level 10 charmander

But only if you had more than one game boy, a link cable, and one copy of both games.

First: There is a major flaw in the topic title. It's Pokémon, not Pokemon.

Second: Whatever I might have said about Platinum, Pearl & Diamond, Ruby & Sapphire, Emerald, etc. etc. I TAKE IT BACK.
I haven't finished any of them, but all Pokémon games are awesome.
The only game I have played these last three days, is Pokémon Crystal, which I now agree, is the best Pokémon game EVAR.
I have also begun a save on Pokémon Platinum, but I doubt I will play it, till I get a DS.
Pokémon Crystal is awesome! I love it, I can't really explain it. It's just so awesome!

Third: I need a DS.

(I play Crystal on an Emulator, so I can press the "Space" button to speed things up. Quite nice.)

Indeed.

Can someone help me? 2 Questions of Pokémon Crystal:

1) Where can I find the "Fly" HM?

2)How do I get the Blackthorn Gym leader (Clair?) to go back to the Gym?
There's some dude blocking my way, saying that she is currently in the Dragon Cave, but when I Surf up to the Dragon Cave, there's a fat old man blocking my way, saying that only qualified trainers can go in there...

This obviously means that I need to get the Blackthorn gym badge to enter the dragon cave, but I can't enter the Gym, because she's in the Dragon Cave!!!
Do I need any special Pokémon or HM? I have Strength, Waterfall, Surf, Whirlpool and Cut.

In Cianwood City, talk to Chuck's wife after you defeat him.
