Lots of RP's going on right now! Why not join in on the fun?

The city of Ballarwood is a busy one. However, it is an incredibly fun and entertaining one (although it can be dangerous sometimes). Connected to the rest of Britain by the Blackstone Highway and the Blackstone Bridge, Ballarwood is a well-known region of modern Britain. It has much history. During ancient times, the Romans built a city upon a flat land that was once home to the village of a native tribe. This city evolved to become what we now know as Ballarwood.

However…during the mid-1700’s, the city grew to possess the highest population of witches during that time period. Hundreds of men and women - both innocent and guilty - were burned at the stake, drowned in the Ballar River, and beheaded at the town square. One of the most renowned of these witches was Julia Ravencroft, guilty, who terrorized the people of Ballarwood with her demons until being captured by the town’s witch-hunting organization in 1768. She was burned at the stake, nearly to death, and taken to the town square. There, they cut out her heart (while she was still alive), and beheaded her dead corpse. Her corpse was then thrown into the river, and her head placed on a stake beside the city’s entrance in order to “warn all incoming witches”. Over the past 300 years, Julia Ravencroft had been slowly forgotten, as intended by the citizens of the city. But it was rumored that her book of spells still remains in the town itself, spared from being burned to ash for fear of letting something loose upon the town. The spell book has the power to bring back such a powerful entity as Julia Ravencroft herself, along with her terror that had been stopped so many years ago.

Strange things have been happening around Ballarwood for quite some time now. And they have been becoming more and more common throughout the years. Could this be the spirit of Ravencroft herself, warning the people of Ballarwood of her return from the very depths of hell? It this is the fact of the matter…she must be stopped.

Right. Now, in order to join this RP, you must read the rules below.

1. I’m the Lord of the Roleplay! Fear me if you dare!!!!! :Twisted Evil:

2. No controlling main NPC’s. Only minor ones like bartenders or strangers you bump into down the street.

3. Character relationships. Character relationship. I can’t say enough about character relationships! DEVELOP THEM!!! They will be a HUGE part of this RP. Whether you develop a hateful relationship with another character or player to the point where you wish to kill them, or even ask them out for a date and go to dinner or the movies, PLEASE DEVELOP CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS!

4. This roleplay is unique. You can do anything at any time. Drive around town looking for a fight. Go the local pub and hang out with friends. Relax at the park and write a poem. Do a painting. Go to the casino! Look for a date. Go shopping at the mall. Take your dog for a walk. WHATEVER YOU WANT!!! Live another life in another world.

5. No one-liners, mates.

6. You can roleplay in first or third person.

7. Use…f---ing…good…grammar. Nun of thiss stuf.

8. All characters must be built off of the template below.

9. The antagonists you’ll meet in this RP are by no means pushovers. None of this “I shot him in once and instantly killed him! Then I shot the three guys behind him and ran into the building!” bullcrap. It doesn’t work like that. When you’re in combat, post what moves you make and I’ll post the outcome. Example:

Player: John threw a kick at the angry dog.

Me: The dog bit John’s ankle as the kick collided with its jaw. (just a stupid example. Obviously the dog isn’t gonna bite your foot if it smashes against his face.)

10. Be realistic, doods.

11. Have bloody fun.

Character Template

Gender:

Age:

Ethnicity:

Height:

Weight:

Hair Colour:

History (detailed and creative; nothing stupid):

Mental Disorders (if none, put n/a) :

Pet Name:

Type of Pet (the type of dog, cat, bird, lizard, etc…):

NOW JOIN!!!!!!! Or off with your BLOODY heads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must say, I'm interested.

But I'd like a little more info. It is, to say the least, vague.

I'll be changing it up a bit to fit the needs of you folks. By the way, does anyone know what the name Julia Ravencroft is a reference to without looking it up? (hint hint: it's from my favorite cartoon EVER)

I once played a game named Ravencourt. Some strange crime game where you didn't have to solve the crime.

Scooby-Doo! But I'm changing it. The name "Julia Ravencroft" doesn't fit the evil witch I have in mind.

No LtGt! Don't use the character sheet above! I'm making a new thread (which I may or may not put up tonight)! It'll include more details and stuff. And the character sheet will be different.

Yeah. I need to sleep you know.

And though I have watched the odd Scooby DOo episode, the names always eluded me. I watched it for the door gag.
