With the tension in the air decreasing, Kah'jihreed's sleep became calm once more.

Irri stumbled to her feet, holding her axe in an obviously non-combative manner. "What a trick!" She exclaimed. "Ha! Another time perhaps, Argonian." She slid the axe into her belt.

Feather-Tail hissed furiously, enraged by Irriwen's condescending comments.

"Let me free, Altmer! I shall face you as well, once this Bosmer has been dealt with!"

"Where did this idiotic conflict begin?" Malatar asked no one in particular.

Now Kah'jihreed opened his eyes. After flicking around a bit, his gaze found the scene before him. He got up and approached.
"What is going on here?" he asked. Finally his gaze fell to the Altmer. "What has this Altmer done?"

"A combative Argonian." Irri replied to the Ayleid jauntily.

Spoiler:
The only reason the fight got that far is because I wasn't here.

The tension in the air was immediately cut by Singer's allies as they separated the Chosen from each other.

Irriwen, Elyntine, and Aramith were taken into privacy by the Witch Engrid, and Feather-Tail was removed by the Altmer mage Cynthia.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Both women said at once, in separate corners of the camp.

"You're the Chosen. You're supposed to end this fight. Don't bother fighting with idiots. Especially if they're destined to end the conflict with you!" Engrid shouted.

"I expect to never see that kind of behavior from you again, Argonian." The young Altmer snarled at Feather-Tail. "You're Chosen by Singer and Azura to end the Marukhati's influence - you better get on that or you're going to have a problem with me."

Irri nodded. "Fine. It won't happen again." She said simply.

"These events do not please me," Aramith begun, "the Argonian must be controlled, lest he continue this dastardly crusade against we Mer. Think, what may have happened if I had not intervened! When will he strike again? When our backs are turned. We need to look out for each other," he said ominously, turning to the other Mer, "because if we do not, our days will be numbered."

Spoiler:
I had a really nice post written up about how Aramith let the Argonian go, with a really nice warning and all

Feather-Tail bitterly complied, escape from the watch of his self-declared superiors now assumably impossible given his actions.

"I shall restrain myself, as I have no choice otherwise- but expect no loyalty should my purported father continually fail to reveal himself. I gave no promises as to this cause."

Ormis walked over to Malatar, and looked up at him.
"Were you at Tarnaybe when the explosion happened?" Ormis asked curiously.

"Yes... what happened? You know, with the explosions and such?" Ormis asked, still looking up at Malatar.

"All you must know is that an attack occurred." Malatar said sternly. "I do not wish to revive rancid memories."

"Alright. You have my apologies. My name is Ormis. Heh, i would shake your hand and all, but i can't reach you. It is nice to meet you. I also apologize for my... companions behavior recently. They have no reason to behave like that." Ormis said, looking up at Malatar.

Dammit! TImezones, timezones, timezones!

Siaenach, who had been sitting against a tree all the time, now stood up and began frantically searching for more paper and ink.

"Ruinous, ruinous. I'm glad I sent off those messages early. They should be safe. But this is ruinous. Even though it should be expected from Stormcloak and his goons."

She abandoned her search for paper with an irritated huff.

"I need to speak to Singer."

Spoiler:
Just a question: Did they go to ALL governments? Including Solstheim, etc.?

Cynthia narrowed her eyes at Feather-Tail, turned, and stormed away without another word.

...

"I'm right here." Said Singer. "You don't have to ask to see me."

J'Dar found Tireace and attempted to calm him down. "J'Dar knows everyone is stressed. He knows that this is hard on all. He understands that not many of us are cut out for this, but he thinks that you should be Tireace. You are excellent at everything you do. But you have a problem, he thinks. J'Dar thinks you need to be concerned with yourself, rather than everyone else. Unless you be teaching someone, then you become concerned with him too. How are you feeling?" J'Dar had his paw on Tireace's back, and spoke in a very comforting tone.

"You know what I think, Singer?" Siaenach said. "I may not like Nords, but you're the only one who could use this suggestion. You need to get an area of land free for elven refugees from Hammerfell and Skyrim, at least. There aren't amany elves in Black Marsh anyways, and the Dunmer has mostly left Morrowind anyways. You need land close to both Skyrim and Hammerfell, where we can keep elves safe. Of course, you need the gratitude of the people first..."
