Irri sighed. "I understand, I suppose. If I don't sympathize. What stars were you born under, Kahjih?"

"Kah'jihreed was born under a sky with no moon, and this has made him smaller than his cousins who were all stronger and taller," the Khajiit said, showcasing his love of unneeded words. "The stars that night were those of Frostfall, The Tower."

"The Tower..." Irri repeated. "Kahjih. Whenever I feel lost, or when I feel like I have no control over anything..." She pointed at the sky. "It comforts me to remember that the Serpent, although it wanders as I do, It always watches over me. Destiny... I try to trust in destiny, Kahjih. Maybe try to find yours, yes?"

"Kah'jihreed thanks Irriwen for her words. But he cannot accept destiny just yet," the Khajiit replied, his gratitude earnest. "Pehraps one day."

Irri nodded. "All in our own time..." She said. She was quiet for a moment. "Meridia." She said simply. "What is the opinion you for Her?'

"Meridia..." Kah'jihreed said quietely and thought for a few moments. "She is not evil like other daedra. That is good, Kah'jihreed believes, as far as good goes with daedra."

"Do you have any connection to her? My connection to the Hunter of the gods make sense, as do many of the others." Irri said.

Tireace comes back, having released some anger out on some.. things and sits down to read her book again.

"Heavens above..." Siaenach mumbled. "Braggart and fool to boot. If she had been of the Reach, we'd have sacrificed her to the hagravens many years ago. Hmph. Let's just wait and see what she'll say once cast before the real deal... She's obviously never met a hagraven..."

"Hagravens?" Siaenach said. "Horrible creatures. A hybrid between a woman and a raven. Many witches aspire to become hagravens, at least in Skyrim. Many Forsworn revere them and worship them because of their great magical prowess, even our Briarhearts."

She sighed dejectedly.

"If it stood to me, I'd stop both the Hagraven worship and the Briarheart practice, as it's barbarian and draws the wrong attention. I wouldn't mind Daedra worship, as long as it didn't have to mean making gruesome sacrfices."

"Hagravens are horrible creatures, yes, but, admitted, they make for intelligent conversation once in a while."

"Sounds like a good story." Irri said, smiling. "Umm... What do the Reachmen think of Dagon?"

"Not sure, to be honest. MAny of them stick to "the old ways", which are mostly hagraven worship, but some Daedra worshipping get past. I think that Mehrunes Dagon would be one of the favourite Forsworn Daedric princes, if they were enlightened enough about it. Maybe I could even get them to stop worshipping hags if I could enlighten them about him. Think about it: The Daedric Prince of Revolution and Change, and he's quite bloodthirsty. Would fit in neatly."

"Sadly. I'd much rather have them at least worship someone partly civil. Ideally Azura, Meridia og the Nine, but for starters, even getting rid of hagravens would be good," Siaenach said. "Hagravens are brutal, crue creatures. I'd sleep safer without them in my house."

Tireace then asks "but what are the forsworn ideals and why are they fighting in the reach for the reach?" With a look of utmost sadness on her face. "and why do they mutilate animals around their camps?"

"The old ways, breton. It's always the old ways. The Reach was ours before the Nords arrived. We split off from Bretons a long time ago, but we are very closely related. Reachmen are just capable of using weapons," Siaenach said with a smug smirk.

"But I digress. We fight for our land back. We almost took at back in Tiber Septim's days, but he beat us back. And then, less than a quarter of a decade ago, we actually succeeded in seceding from Skyrim while the legion was busy. We HAD Markarth in our grasp."

Siaenach's face darkened.

"Then he showed up. Ulfric the Vile. And chased us back out again. Horrible man."

Spoiler:
Oh, and since a lot of people have expressed confusion, I imagine Siaenach's name pronounced like this: "Shaynack/Shaynach". Either one'll work.

"oh yea I read somewhere that ulfric shouted the forsworn from the Walls and occupied the city and tortured everyone that had a connection to them, skyrim has a long and bloody history.." tireace said as she got up and paced, she thought Now I wish I had the chance to kill him.

Spoiler:
Boy, Tireace is bad at keeping opinions...

"Always has, always will. We are proud of that history as well. There is an honor in going to Sovngarde for us as well. We just want freedom to make our own rules. And many people in the Reach have been hurt. Either they moved in with Ulfric's conquest, like the Silver-Bloods, or they try to make a living under heavy guard, and get killed inevitably, or they're involved with us. I once heard one of my uncle's friends say that there are no innocents in the Reach. And perhaps that is true."

Singer advised everyone to get some sleep as they'd have a big day tomorrow. There were bedrolls for both his men and the Chosen.

"If 'his highness' says so," Siaenach mumbled at Singer's advice, before cutting off the conversation and heading to bed.
