"Excuse me, Idolaf?" Bethany interrupted. "I believe that I asked you a question. Unless you have a specific point to discuss in our peace treaty-military access deal, I'll see myself out."

"Excuse my manners, miss. I was distracted. Are you okay with me also allowing Ormis to use my land?"

Queen Iaestra was moving through the landscape of southern Haafinheim, heading towards the capital of Northshore, reaching Dawnstar soon enough, approaching the Jarl's residence.

"The Queen in Rags would like to have an audience," she informed the nearest guard.

"I have no problem with it." Bethany said, and stood. "Best of luck to you, good Jarl. Whiterun is in a dangerous position and I sympathize with your location in Skyrim." She nodded to Thorold and Astigar, who left to ready the carriage. "Morvar, Thane of Winterhold will speak on my behalf from now on. Farewell." The Jarl bowed her head in respect and headed for the doors, Donner following her closely.

Idolaf smiled sadly. He knew this, He had to make friends or his people would die. "Morvar, on behalf of my people, I would like to thank you. Your Jarl is so thoughtful and nice. Thank you."

Morvar nodded respectfully. "You don't know how grateful my sister-in-law is that you're allowing her to pass along your lands." Morvar, a less than diplomatic man, had revealed his identity, but he hardly cared. He did not fear a hostage situation in the near future.

"So, what happened in the Reach." Asked Idolaf.

"Sorry to interrupt you again, but i must take my leave. I have other matters to attend to back in Falkreath." Ormis said, finishing his soup "Thank you for the soup." Ormis said, smiling. He went through the gates, and soon left Whiterun. After an hour of travelling, he saw Falkreath. As he walked through the town, he noticed a girl who was dressed in formal clothing. He walked past her, not thinking much of it.

"It... It was terrible! She's crazy, that one! Threatened to kill me for calling her a Jarl!" Shouted the envoy, drinking his soup.

"It appears that you don't possess a silver tongue." Laughed Idolaf. "Don't worry, I personally will leave for Markarth soon. I will write a letter later."

I apologise for sending a weak envoy. An intelligent and noble Reachwomen like yourself deserves better. That is why I personally, if allowed, will come to your palace to discuss anything that my envoy may have forgotten or not explained correctly.

To Jarl Idolaf of Whiterun,

It is good that even a Nord such as yourself can see how devoid of any cognitiv matter your envoy was. You can of course try to come and parlour yourself, but I won't promise anything.

Idolaf took a carriage and headed for the Stone City. He arrived in the morning and walked up to the gates.

The gruff, moustached guards at the gates had been notified of his arrival, and opened the gates for Idolaf, though not without sending him distrusting glances.

"Thank you." Said the Jarl, being escorted by his Housecarl. They walked up to Understone Keep and waited at the doors.
