Wise choice. In the armory, you will find twelve demolition charges; that should be enough. There's a transport in the hangar bay that should get you close enough to the target that you can walk there. Now move out!

The four spec-ops troopers left the control room and went down to the armory, where they saw twelve C4 charges. Each person grabbed three along with their normal equipment, then left to go the the hangar bay. There, a stealth APC sat, waiting for someone to use it. The driver, who was nearby, started talking.

This APC can remain hidden from the robots as long as I don't get within 250 meters of their outpost. You'll have to walk the rest of the way there.

Gamma Team stepped into the APC, ready for battle. The hangar door opened as the door on the APC locked. The APC drove forward, onto a lift that put it inside the garage the base hid under. The garage's doors opened, allowing the APC to exit.

Five Minutes Later

The APC started to slow down and stop. The driver then said, Okay, guys, I can't get much closer to the robot outpost without being detected. You'll have to get out here. The four people stepped out and watched as the APC backed up and did a U-turn to head back to base.

You can:

» Advance toward the robot base
» Look around for anything of interest

We should look around to see if there's anything of interest, Malivia piped up.

The team starts looking around when Malivia nearly trips on something half-buried in the ground. Cruncher digs it up only to find it's a weapon upgrade kit! Unfortunately, since nobody on Gamma Team had experience in repair, the upgrade kit was unusable until they got back to base.

Item Gained: 1 Weapon Upgrade Kit

» Continue searching
» Advance on the robots' outpost

That was just the first thing you saw. Generally, whenever you have a "search" option on this roleplay, you'll stop upon finding one item or area of interest. You will always have the option to continue searching, until your search turns up nothing.

So, you may very well find a sniping spot.

Also, I have data on everyone's characters typed out. Should I post it?

Who said it would be a building? It could be anything from a big rock to an abandoned outhouse, from a conveniently placed pile of sandbags to the wreckage of a vehicle.

I think we should explore a bit more, Malivia hesitantly offered.

Post the data on our characters! :D

@Ace: Sorry about the confusion. You're just outside of the suburbs looking at a robot base that is all of the way outside of the suburbs, about 250m away. So I guess if you retreated back into the suburbs, you could find some sniper spots there. But there's always the issue of range.

@Sonix: No. However, once you get back to base, you can give it to the person in the armory and he can upgrade your stuff for you.

@Vivec:

I took off 5 HP for each alternate skill from a base of 75. Except for Ace, who gave me a name for the rebels. For that, he gets his perks at no health cost.

Also, since it's tied for which option to take, I'm not going to post anything until you work it out.

Ok, here it is.

Gamma Team advanced on the robot outpost. As they advanced, they took cover behind the ruins of some construction equipment. They could hear two G-10s patrolling nearby.

You can:

» Attack the robots
» Attempt to sneak past the robots
