Actually, attempting a moot after a bunch of turns would actually be rather interesting.

It would be like the third Pirates of the Caribbean where everyone votes for themselves!

Unless at the moot... you can't vote for yourself. Fawoosh.

I call for the roleplay to begin! 8)

I may or may not get an OP up tonight before I leave for the beach, if not, you guys can begin any ways. Remember, no moves will be made until I get back and the seasons change from Winter to Spring, but you will send me your first move commands via PM.

Quickly though: How do we do diplomacy, do we tell you, then we start diplomacy over PM our through the thread, or do we start diplomacy through PM/thread then tell you the outcome?

Is there still time for me to get involved? If so which territories are still available? If none then could I maybe be someone's housecarl?

PigsAteMyFace, all the Holds are filled. If you communicate with AtoM I guess that you might be able to fill the roll of the Legion, however I hadn't planned on adding another player and am actually going to be missing for over a week after I post this, so I'm not sure how it will work unless you simply take control of one piece on the board stationed at Windhelm, and control no settlements. IF AtoM and the others were fine with it, I guess you could be independent, initially aligned with Windhelm.

Crepe, however you see fit. You can send emissaries, communicate via PM. I don't need to be informed per se.

Which actually reminds me of a question I meant to answer from Matt, you can CC me into any private conversations if you see fit, but I wont make it mandatory. If you do make alliances and such and wish to support each others' troops, etc. you'll tell me in your PM issuing orders.

I think he's trying to use this as a beta for something like this but based on either the great houses or high rock, so when he does that, you should try to get in.

High Rock would be a blast. Place has got more strange turns than Labyrinthian.

I gotta say I don't know a lot about the lore behind the games so if someone could design a kind of 'beginners' rp that would would be pretty cool :D

Markarth
Bradenach, the Jarl of Haainheim Torrhen Bloodcrown's wife, arrived in Markarth Side (I am assuming JV has moved the capital from Karthwasten to Markarth.) She approached one of the Reachman guards. "I seek an audience with the Queen." She said softly. She was tall for a Breton, still pretty well into her thirties. She wore upper class clothes that rather clashed with the traditional Reachman amulet of bone and rock that hung around her neck.

Dawnstar
Young, serious Eddar Longtrek arrived in Dawnstar at his father's command, not that he really minded. He approached a guard, inclining his head respectfully. "I am Eddar. Son of the Jarl of Solitude, I seek an audience with her Majesty, the Jarl."

Jarl Bethany sat in her throne, watching the courier depart. She had just sent three diplomatic messages to Holds around Skyrim. She hoped to Talos it would go over well.

Spoiler:
Anyone have any unique flags?

Dawnstar

"Her Grace, Jarl Rosteir the Charger is currently preoccupied at the judicial court." the guard responded. "But, of course, you may pass."

Edgar was allowed the pass through the city. Rosteir had brought a new form of greatness and prosperity to the city of Dawnstar. Shops and merchants were everywhere. The streets were smooth and clean. The buildings were large and luxurious. The men and women wore expensive clothing and jewelry. A noticeable aspect of Dawnstar was it's large amount of horses. It reflected Rpsteir's emphasis on the might of her mounted military units.

Yer it was understandable that the Jarl was criticized for her "Imperialistic" ruling methods. Well-armed soldiers lined the streets. The people seemed to fear them. The entire city had a rather...tense feeling to it.

The Jarl's fortified castle was situated at the heights of the city.
