Irri retrieved as many of her intact arrows as she could, and mounted back up.

Elyntine shook her head, disgusted by Aramith and Irriwen's conversation. She approached Tireace. "The woman will be riding with you, then?" she asked.

"I am sorry, but there is no question about it," Aramith interjected, "she will ride with me. I insist. Would you begrudge a simple Altmer the companionship of one of the few of his own kind that are left in Tamriel? You have nothing to fear if you too believe that I pose a threat to her. I swear by Auri-El, by Vaermina my apparent Daedric father, I will not raise a finger against her, she is my own kin, you must understand this."

"Very well Aramith, but please, if she is better tell us as soon as you can. I am sorry Elyntine, but i guess i am not riding with the altmer woman. now if you excuse me. I simply must go and pratice on my teleportation spell.." Tireace said after she unraveled a scroll with a odd symbol on it.

"Wait, Tireace, you could always ride with me if you wished," Aramith said, "we could discuss Magic to pass the time if you would like. You seem to have quite some skill in the Arcane, from what I have observed so far."

"i will like to ride with you Aramith, the discussion of magic will be very, invigorating and interesting." Tireace said with a warm smile.

"I am glad you would," Aramith said, returning the smile, "so tell me about yourself. Have you been studying Magic for long?"

Too cranky to comply with anyone's requests, Sebastien turned about and went back to his horse, mounting the creature all whilst grumbling incoherently. "Ignorant fools," he muttered as he sat down in the saddle. He adjusted his reins angrily, causing his horse to take an agitated step beneath him. "If I had wanted to watch children all day, by all the Divines and the Princes, I would have married."

"i have been studing Magic, since i was five... or six. i forgot when, When i turned 16 I was told to marry, but i ran off to skyrim to the college of Winterhold. I have gained understanding in a few schools of magic. and how long have you been studying?" Tireace said while absentmindedly correcting the symbol so it looks almost like it is bursting out of the scroll.

"Oh me? I have been studying the Arcane for decades. I have travelled far across Tamriel in my search for knowledge, and yet, there is still so much to learn," Aramith said wistfully, "Most of my study has been focused on the Arts of the former School of Mysticism. The arts of Telekinesis and the control of Arcane energies in particular. In addition I have a degree of knowledge in the Schools of Alteration and Thaumaturgy, and of course I was trained in Restoration, and the Destructive Arts."

"Thaumaturgy and Mysticism? what on earth are those? are they useful?" Tireace queried

"Wondrous," Aramith exclaimed, "unfortunately, so much has been lost in the destruction of the past centuries, so much war, so much destruction. But they were all concerned with altering the mystical and physical energies of Mundus. In modern terms you might find similar Magic in the new School of Alteration. But what of your own study? What areas in particular have held your attention?"

Edit: Don't know what Magci is

Irriwen approached her friend, Sieanach. "Hey, beautiful." She yawned.

"ah erm well all of teh schools hold my interest, i mean, altering what you see, summoning weapons and allies, killing someone with just one point and a spell, healing or reviving, and making deadly weapons more deadly. But i'm skilled mostly in Destruction, Conjuration, and Enchanting, i know a fair amount about Restoration, but Alteration is just my weakness." Tireace explained. "i would love to see some Thaumaturgy!"

"The School of Thaumaturgy is concerned with manipulating the laws of Mundus, temporarily, not with changing the appearance or structure of a force or object as in the School of Alteration," Aramith begun, "for example, Levitation, a Magic sometimes associated with the School of Mysticism, although achieved in that school in a different manner, by manipulating the boundaries of the physical world to bypass its limitations. The difference is subtle, but still worthy of note. But perhaps you would like a demonstration?"

"ooh yes please, yes please." Tireace said like a eager child waiting for a magician to do some magic tricks.

"It would be a pleasure," Aramith said. He stepped into a clear space and raised hsi hands, waving them outwards in an obscure motion as he murmured a short Arcane phrase. Gradually, the magic begun to take effect, and the Altmer begun to hover higher above the ground.

"You'll notice that the spell does not rely upon the control of Mystical energies to propel me forward and upwards, as a Levitation spell might under the School of Mysticism," he called out, "this is Thaumaturgy at work!"

He ended the spell, and glided back down to the ground, "perhaps one day you too will come to master the ancient Arcane, if we see through the ordeals before us."

Elyntine mounted her steed and led it to where Singer was located. "So, " she said, "We now have the Thalmor as our enemy. As well as an injured woman to care for." She paused. "Does our course remain unchanged?"

"Aradusk can't stop us, and the Altmer will be tended to by our healer Lilith while you're in battle. For now, we need to ride." Singer announced. "Let's go. We can make it to Orsinium by nightfall."

Tireace smiled at Aramith and went back onto her horse. "i simply must learn those schools of magic.." she mused checking all her pouches for maps and books.

Sebastien had not been amused by Aramith's magic. Here we are and you're doing cheap parlor tricks, he thought angrily. Mages these days! In fact, it made him all the more miserable, and he was happy to hear Singer say they would be off. He decided a hard ride would be good for him and the least he could settle for without the promise of liquor and a decent night's sleep, which would be decidedly better for him at this point - but all but impossible, and impossible for perhaps many nights yet. The Breton gathered his reins anew and pushed his heels down in his stirrups, letting his horse prance impatiently as the others remounted.

Siaenach, after struggling with the act of mounting the horse for a few minutes, managed to get up again and grasped the reins tightly, slightly white in the face.

"I have reached the conclusion that I don't like horses very much," Siaenach mumbled through her teeth.
