"Just go," he said, "What are you a detective? I have no idea."

FRAGANO
"But my family!" Ron said, as five soldiatis left the office. Ron tried to grab onto a soldier, but the soldati gave Ron a deep cut with his knife. The last soldier closed the door behind him.

They got to his house, and began throwing in torches. There were screams in the house, after the fifth torch was tossed in, and then another five were thrown in. the soldatis keeping a straight face. The soldatis heard the firemen begin to come, and threw gasoline over the house, and then more torches. The family was seen getting out of the house as the house literally became one hundred percent fire. When the fire fighters came, it was razed.

"Usually when I say something like that, people like you squeal like a pig and say 'okay, I'll pay.'" Vince said. "Hope it was worth it. Now get out of my sight before I do anything you'll regret."

Ron walked out of the office, crying still. "I didn't think you would do it, why would you do it..." he was muttering to himself on the way out.

"Ron." Vince said. "Get me my money in a month's time, or I'll go after your wife."

"I...I... okay, but how?" Ron asked.

"Your problem, not mine." Vince said. "If you steal something of the proper value, bring it to us. We'll do the rest." he said coldly.

"Yes sir..." Ron said walking out.

"F*cking babbos." Vince muttered. "Gonna be the death of me, Vittorio. Cigarette?"

"Okay fine, lets go guys." the boss and the crew left.

FRAGANO
"By God, yes please," he said. "I can't take those people,"

BRUBINO
An architect bumped into Alberto as he entered the building.

"Hey what was that for, wait a minute you look like an architect, do you know anything about this note." The boss said.

"Oh, great." he said. "Yeah, deals off though." The architect tried to walk into the building, but a soldier pushed him away from the door.

Vince passed Vittorio a cigarette. "Whyever the hell the old boss was goin' around lending money to idiots like him, I'll never know." Vince said, lighting one up for himself. "With idiot babbos like him, there's always the chance they'll flake off. No f*ckin' honour!" He took a long drag. "There's a reason I'm spending my money on the brothels, I swear to f*ckin' God. Men used wh*rehouses, use wh*rehouses, and will still f*ckin' use wh*rehouses. Money up front. No problem. Treat the girls right, give them a fair cut, and they'll stay loyal. No crackheads shooting up dealers, no deadbeats not paying loans, no shopkeepers ratting to the cops... It's safe. F*ckin' smart." He took another drag.

The captain punched him multiple times then held him at gunpoint "Give me the money." He said

FRAGANO
"Agreed, great choices boss." He took short puffs of the cigarette after liting it. "You are a much better boss, the other one was hell. He was always opposed to the brothels."

BRUBINO
Ron easily disarmed the gun holder, and put the captain at gunpoint.

Vince took a long drag. "He ever say why?"

The captain put his hands up and asked "What do you want?"

FRAGANO
"No, we was jus stupid," he said. "Something about his past life," he said, taking a few more short puffs.

BRUBINO
"One thousand dollars," he said.

Vince laughed. "I'd bet twenty large his father's name was 'John.' Ha!" His laugh devolved almost immediately into a cough.

"Meet me at my office midnight." He said.

FRAGANO
Vittorio caughed a bit too, he looked at what he was smoking, and put it out.

BRUBINO
Ron put the gun down on the ground, nodded, and walked away.

Vincenzo continued to cough for several more seconds, before taking another drag. "These f*cking lungs ain't what they used to be." he said, tapping a few cinders of ash into his ashtray. "What have the other families been up to, Vittorio?"

"Oddly enough, some of the same things. Everyone has been looking for an architect." Vittorio said. "I have a feeling the guy is going to die," he said. "I don't think we will get the money.
