Unfortunately, my Internet is on a very tight bandwidth so I can't Skype.

I will try to finish Winterhold Rebuilt before this date.
Once I do, I expect to be crowned King of the Nords and be turned into a god.

I don't do Skype myself. So I'm just going to take part and post what happens on the forums.

That being said. Think Treva's Watch should be a location we visit once again plenty of bandits and loot.

If anyone is feeling artistic, feel free to knock us out a fancy dancey sig that everyone taking part can display. Is it worth running this over Saturday and Sunday to allow more people to join in given the various time zones members are in?

I think using the entire weekend is a grand idea, especially since Sunday ends so much earlier for people on the other side of the world ;)

Maybe the next contest of the month can be to create the signature banner for this event!?

Might be possible but could be difficult fitting round school and work schedules, but I suppose the Skyrims the limit. Why 42hrs and not 48hrs?

Either cardy didn't do his math properly, or getting 4 hours of sleep each night. Either is plausible.

You sir, are a hero. Give me a buzz if you need any help, I'm on holidays for a bit now, although I doubt I'll be much help.

Musicman247 wrote:I think using the entire weekend is a grand idea

Certainly a prolonged period would be good. Unfortunately for me it will probably fall right on my 3/4 exam, but I guess the greater the space of time in which it occurs, the greater chance I, and others, will be able to participate.

Help? Duru, Duru, Duru... You're still in the credits, you're obligated to help. :Twisted Evil:

Then we'll have to do a little rebrief. I guess the old thread's still around, and probably an appropriate place to talk about it (sorry for the diversion guys :P), or feel free to PM me.

Old thread is fine.
And yeah, I really need your help. I don't really like the original storyline we had (Go get a thousand items until you drop dead) and was thinking about doing a thing with Shalidor or perhaps the Daedra.

Maybe we should clean up the OP and organize all our current ideas so far on there. That way the whole idea is more approachable for people who stumble upon the thread.

Now I should probably start saving up for a Capture Card.

Do we kinda sign up to participate, or what?

well, assuming I can convince myself and my parents it's a good idea to bring my xbox to uni, I'm in.

I'm on Xbox and probably won't skype while I'm playing but I'm good for the marathon.

Xbox players can Skype.
Skype does not equal video... All you have to do is turn on the voice chat and talk while you play the game (Of course, you have to have the computer on your lap or somewhere nearby). I did it for the Skyrim Raiding Party, and it worked just fine.

I'm keen. Musicman and Avron have my skype, and I've got a perfect spot for my laptop right next to my tv.

Lets do this.

I know that but my mother has the stern rule of one or the other.

All in favour of banning JK's mother?

Re: The UESPForums Skyversary.

Mon Oct 01, 2012 6:52 am

I can't go on it for long, 1.5 to two hours at most, because of revision for my exams, but i will do something. And i have skype, so i can do that.

@Justice - don't worry about it, I probably won't be using skype either, I might start a thread especially for the event or maybe just using the existing what you did in Skyrim thread to boast of my exploits.

Alternatively, can't you speak to mother nicely and see if she would let you do it as a one off. Although if Goldbrand can convince his dad to let him take an Xbox to Uni, maybe he can speak to your mum.

I can be very.... 8) ... persuasive.
