These monthly competitions are a chance for you to demonstrate your creativity and talents while getting a chance to know your fellow members and have a little fun. Each month is going to have a different theme and a different talent – and maybe a surprise or two!

The basic rules are as follows:


This month we are partnering with a special UESPF community-run event to be held next month. November is the one year anniversary of TES V: Skyrim, and to celebrate some of your forum peers are hosting a special series of events, which you can read about in this thread here. But wouldn’t it be nice if people participating in the Skyversary had something to help promote it and show their participation? That’s where you come in!

Your job is to create a signature image or avatar that members participating can use. You will not only get credit for your work, but it will be featured in everyone’s forum profile!

We ask that all signature images be reasonably sized, no wider than 700 pixels and no taller than 100 pixels. Forum avatars are 135x135 pixels with a 29.30 KiB cap.


Our schedule for the October event is as follows:
October 1 – October 25: Competition begins! Start planning and send in those submissions!
October 26 – October 30: Voting period – vote for your favorites!
October 31: Our winner is announced!
Please note that all times are determined by me, Avron the S’wit, and therefore will run according to GMT -5/Eastern Standard Time. (Click here if you’re unsure when, exactly, that is!)

Remember that the CotM is not possible without you, so please participate, contribute, discuss, and vote!

Here's my 1st shot at an entry, featuring everybody's favorite housecarl!

Those entries are super so far - wow! I especially love Deandra's.

Weasel, I guess everyone can try a signature image and an avatar, since there are more or less two mini competitions in one, but try to do one entry per idea. That way it's fair.

I am ever so slightly embarrassed that my idea was stolen and used. They all look awesome, although have to point out that Musicman is being sexist.

I thought Stormborn said sexiest.

Sexist? More like racist. What about Mer? Khajiit? Argonians?

But seriously, I'll fix it. It's going to be a work in progress up until the last day I can submit.

The words "for now" mean it will probably be changed again.

1 small question are the banners going to be able link directly to the Skyversary thread?

We could definitely do that! Just put a Url tag around the Img tag.

You should make an entry. Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Fluttershy are counting on you!

Can one participant submit several pieces?

There are actually two contests going on at the same time: an avatar competition and a signature banner competition. You are allowed to submit one of each, but not more than one of each. Does that help?

Now that's an entry and a half, tatortodd22! Took me a moment to get it...but now I am laughing hysterically.

I had to resize the canvas, and it cut off more of the knee than I'd like, but you still get the idea XD thank you
