There's a recent mod uploaded on Nexus yesterday, that is a fix for the disappearing objects in containers. The author does so by identifying the buggy objects, and then forces them to 100 health. So it's more of a workaround than a fix. The thing is that after it identifies buggy objects, you need to then refresh the container menu, but I'm at a loss on what refreshes the menu.

BTW, the mod is called Fix Container Disappear Bug, and uploaded yesterday. Here's a the link:

when message 'Buggy item detected', you should see the menu blinking about 1 second. So it means this mod automatically do it for you, yeah there is no command for refresh menu manually for sure. If you curious what item is, you can open the console after that message and see there is some item names written on it
curious how I refresh menu ? I use this command, the script in second line will not work on normal console though :
CloseAllMenus
rf.Activate Player, 1

QUOTE : "but I'm just not sure what is triggering the refresh"
A : you should read QQuix explanation in this mod front description page. read carefully this section to understand more about "What is a disappearing item ??? (I quote from QQuix)"

yupz, me too don't know much about disappearing item bug....
until some people mention this in forum. which is I am curious want to tinker it
luckily, when the posting progress. User QQuix gave a sample test case code
finally, I can create solution for this bug which is 10 years old never-been-solved. one decade oh dear..
so... this all happen because the help from QQuix & user reporting this bug in forum

hmm... it seems from your report message appeared 'Refresh Menu' make some user confused.
Ok I gonna change it to version 3 with less confusing message & better script. Thx!!

and yeah.... Personal inventory can be bugged too, but if I apply this mod script into that, I am pretty sure it will happen frequently and many user will be annoyed because we need armory at 125% right? not 100% because being forced
