I saw vids on youtube and people hung shield on there walls in there houses. How can I?

By using the Construction Set? Just find a shield that you like and position it next to a wall. Now rotate it and place it against the wall and you're all done.

Modding is not so hard. There's an excellent beginners guide on the Construction Set Wiki.

You can also try it in-game but that'll be quite difficult. You could place a shield on top of a desk or table.

There's a mod that let you freeze things in the air, I forgot the name though

A specific mod that lets to put things in the air, or on walls in your case, and perhaps rotate it, and change height? perhaps? but VERY unlikely XD!

Honestly, depending on witch file you make Active, it does not matter, let's say you make a new file and call it "failure.esm".

If you then go into the CS and, lets say, remove all the NPCs in the game, it only actually happens if you load the ACTIVE file, "failure.esm".

So in WORST case you can just remove it and start again.

Remember, if you mess up, theres always your CTRL-Z key.

This is exactly what the mod did.
